As a christian when you are submerged under the water it will identify the death and burial of Jesus and when raised from the water it represents his resurrection. Baptism is an outward expression of the decision you've already made in your heart.
When should I be baptized?
We ask that you be baptized once you have made the decision to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior.
For our children we wait until they are old enough to believe and understand the true meaning of baptism before we baptize them
Do I have to get baptized?
Baptism doesn't make you a believer but shows that you are a believer. It's like a wedding ring, its an outward commitment of the decision that you made in your heart to live for Christ.

To follow Jesus's example: Mark 1:9 Because Christ commanded it: Matthew 28:19-20 It demonstrates your belief: Acts 18:8, 1 John 2:3
